Join us at HumanKind Foster Care and become a part of the team that values compassion, dedication, excellence, and a work culture you want to be a part of everyday Success In This Role Looks Like: - Complete and maintain thorough documentation including but not limited to: Monthly Notes and Reports, 14 Day Plans, 30 Day Plans, 45 Day Plans, Social Histories, Quarterly Reports, and Annual Reports. - Assess the needs of foster children, and implement tangible objectives, strategies and services to address all identified needs. - Completion of home and field visits multiple times a month for each child. - Attend or coordinate meetings on behalf of foster children and foster families including; FAPT, Court, FPM meetings, Treatment Teams, and VEMAT meetings. - Supervise visitations between foster children and their birth families, provide transportation for identified services, and make service referrals to various agencies. - Participation in ongoing trainings required by LCPA standards, HumanKind, and supervisor. - Participation in all audits, to include internal and external conduct by LCPA Licensing Inspector. - Use Placement/Matching protocol in the event assistant is needed for placement by the Program Manager. - Provide ongoing support and training to foster families. Requirements for Consideration: - A baccalaureate degree in any field plus two years of experience in providing casework services to children and families; - OR a baccalaureate degree in social work or a field related to social work including, but not limited to sociology, psychology, special education, or counseling and one year of experience in providing casework services to children and families; - OR a doctorate or master’s degree in social work from a college or university accredited by the Council on Social Work Education or a field related to social work such as sociology, psychology, special education, or counseling with a student placement in casework services to children and families or one year of experience in providing casework. - Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. - One year of case management experience, preferably with children and families. - Complete, pass and maintain all required Background checks and drug test. - Must be able to response to on-call emergencies within an approved amount of time as determined by Program Manager.
