The Richmond Group USA is looking for a talented Director of
Supply Chain to join a well-known high-speed equipment
manufacturer. This company dominates its niche globally. Over the
years, they have developed several innovative machines that give
their customers the competitive advantage they need to grow their
businesses and gain market share. They produce complex high-speed
machinery that is designed to increase productivity and efficiency.
They have a large installed customer base with machines in 49
different countries. Their outstanding machines are so well
engineered that 100% of all the machines they have built during the
last 30 years are still in use.
We are looking for a dynamic leader who can spearhead several
programs that will directly impact their inventory management,
sourcing, and cost reduction efforts. The ideal candidate will have
direct materials and operations experience with large
engineered-to-order products (Pumps, Compressors, Packaging
Machinery, etc.). This is a great spot for someone to grow their

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply
Chain, or related discipline. MBA is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success in Supply Chain and Materials Management
10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with
specific experience with MRP/ERP, planning, production & inventory
control, and sourcing/procurement.
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a 30+ person
multi-site team (Master Scheduling, Planning, Purchasing,
Production Control, Inventory Control, Shipping & Receiving)
Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
A.P.I.C.S. and/or N.A.P.M. certification is highly desirable.
Previous experience with low volume, engineered-to-order
components, and equipment is a plus
Excellent computer and presentation skills: Microsoft Windows,
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
