Adecco is currently hiring for ENTRY-LEVEL - MANUFACTURING positions with one of the TOP companies in the Rockbridge Area! If you meet the qualifications listed below Apply Now!

Location: Buena Vista, VA

Hours: 1st shift, 6:30am-5pm, Mon.-Thu. / 2nd shift, 8pm-6:30am, Mon.-Thu.

Pay: $10/hr (1st shift) / $10.50/hr (2nd shift)

Positions:

SEWING OPERATOR:

Functions:

-Starts & operates machine to join fabric

-Position fabric under needle using marks on machine & clamps

-Replace & rethread needles, as needed

-Observing & inspecting material

Physical Requirements:

-Ability to keep hand & arm steady

-Ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands & wrists

-Ability to pull & tug on fabric and use abdominal & lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously ove time without "giving out" or fatiguing

ASSEMBLY:

Functions:

-Attachment of covers to frames and end panels

-Installation of inflation mainfolds and bracing

-Palletizing

Physical Requirements:

-Lifting up to 50lbs routinely throughout the day

-Standing for long periods of time & bending, stooping & squatting routinely

-Manual dexterity & ability to utilize small hand tools in the assembly process

In addition, candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

-Must have minimum of 1 year of previous manufacturing experience

-Reliable transportation a must

-Must be able to successfully complete a client specific background & drug check
