Responsibilities to include but not limited to the following:

• Interpret structural drawings, codes, and standards with occasional assistance from higher qualified inspectors.
• Witness testing of the welder tests and/or welding operator qualification tests.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Must maintain an attendance record of 90% or better.
• OSHA 10 certification -Skills and Requirements:
  • High School Or GED
  • Understanding of welding inspection and structural steel
  • Familiarity with drawings, codes, and standards
  • Familiarity with visual and dimensional inspections of structural steel
  • Familiarity with SMAW, SAW, FCAW, GMAW welding processes
  • Certification or experience with Magnetic Particle (MT) Inspection
  • Certification or experience with Blasting and Coating Inspection
