Job Description:

Civil CADD Drafting/Design

Full time on site in office is preferred, but may consider the possibility of working remote depending on experience.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Civil Engineering or related technical field
3 or more years of professional drafting and design experience is preferred
Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D including survey and earthworks modules.

Note:

Requires experience with Civil design/drafting, familiar with Stormwater Management (SWM) calculations and working knowledge of land surveying drafting.

Working knowledge of most current Civil3D applications, including ability to manipulate AutoCAD families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, and filters, REVIT/BIM Modeling is a plus.

Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D including survey and earthworks modules.
Familiar with field procedures for performing boundary, topographic, ALTA/ADSM land title surveys.

Job Summary:

Successful candidate will be technically competent, flexible, client-focused, and capable of performing a variety of drafting functions. This position will require working as a team member and independently on various civil and environmental projects.

Knowledge/Experience

Working knowledge of most current Civil3D applications, including ability to manipulate AutoCAD families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, and filters, REVIT/BIM Modeling is a plus.

Prior experience with civil design and drafting
Working knowledge of land surveying and engineering principles and standards
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD Civil3D Survey Software (most current version).
Assist in drawings for new projects, revisions as necessary, and issue new copies for review.
Translate field data from survey instruments such as robotic total stations, data collectors, GPS, and other standard survey equipment to collect field data is preferred.
Ability to interpret construction plans to perform necessary calculations and perform construction layout.
Assist in drawings for new projects
Revise drawings during a project, as required, and issue new copies for review
Willingness to assist in a wide range of projects.
