You want to show up and make a difference each and every day.What You Will Do:You will have the ultimate responsibility to help implement customized care plans that encompass solutions to nurture the whole person in mind, body and spirit. You will be providing impeccable care to clients by assisting in scheduled activities as well as overall care management. You will treat your clients like family, going above and beyond to enhance their quality of life. Responsibilities: Seniorcorps Live-In program allows you the choice of working just 3 or 4 days a week.
    • Provide personal care and companionship to client's in the home setting
    • Maintain effective communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and Seniorcorp staff and co-workers
    • Perform duties as assigned on personal care service plan
    • Help keep the client's environment clean and organized
    • Assist with daily activities such as toileting, bathing, dressing
    • Remind client to take self-administered medications
    • Help with cooking, grocery shopping, and errands
    • Log daily tasks on our user-friendly mobile app
    • Caregiver sleeps in a spare bedroom in the clients Qualifications: Not a certified caregiver? NO PROBLEM!Ask about our on-site 40-hour Personal Care Attendant course! We provide the training and certification you need to enter the home care field and a full time job upon graduation. AND we scholarship half the tuition if you work with Seniorcorp for at least 6 months. Skills, Education and Certifications:
      • Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) Certification
      • Alzheimer's or Dementia experience is a plus
      • Empathy, compassion and kindness a MUST
      • Ability to use sound judgement and remain calm in a variety of situations
      • Must be reliable, dependable and on time
      • Basic computer skills as well as overall technical savviness
      • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
