Supports Budget processes with responsibility and oversight of implementation and maintenance of Budget related systems and support to University departments

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Project lead and point-of-contact

  2. Leads project teams with technical issues in the initiation and planning phases of Budget systems implementations

  3. Performs technical analysis and supports operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions and updates

  4. Serves as a main contact responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrade support of mission critical production environments in cooperation with University IT

  5. Works closely with University IT on systems configurations and interfaces

  6. Serves as the subject matter expert on all Budget systems and their interconnectivity to other University technology

  7. Maintains content and configurations of Budget systems

  8. Responsible for managing all Financial Planning & Budgeting websites

  9. Helps develops and manage Budget training for internal and external system users

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree required preferably in Information Technology, Finance, or Business or four or more years' experience in a budget office, or appropriate combination of training and experience

  2. Experience administering Finance and/or Budget systems

  3. Technology Project Management experience

  4. Demonstrated experience coordinating needs across divisional lines

  5. End-user technical support

  6. Experience troubleshooting system errors

  7. Experience importing, exporting and manipulating data

  8. Experience configuring and supporting workflow

  9. Experience with cloud-based technology

  10. Experience with report generation

  11. Individual must not be in default on any federal student or parent loan

  12. Individual must not be convicted of, or pled nolo contendere or guilty to, a crime involving the acquisition, use, or expenditure of federal, state, or local government funds, or be administratively or judicially determined to have committed fraud or any other material violation of law involving federal, state, or local government funds (CFR 668.14(b)(18)(i))

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with Anaplan

  2. Experience with Ellucian Banner

  3. Six or more years' experience in a budget office, or finance related office, or appropriate combination of training and experience

  4. Knowledge in not-for profit higher education financial reporting and budget management is ideal

Work Hours

8am-5pm, M-F
