The Application Developer will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of applications that support the manufacturing of products at BWXT. Job Description/Duties:

• Design, implement, and test software. -
• Document development and provides end user support.
• Support migration of a large legacy MES system to a newer version.
• Develop and support modern replacements for legacy software using Microsoft Visual Studio and the .NET framework using Oracle and/or SQL Server databases. -Job Qualifications/Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in an IT field is required.
  • Must possess at least -six (6) years of related experience. An advanced degree may substitute for some years of experience.
  • Must have demonstrable knowledge of application development using MS .Net tools with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Must have experience with full Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong software testing skills and knowledge of development of User Interfaces for data driven applications is a plus
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
