Job Description:

We’re hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Chase City, VA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help residents regain skills needed for daily living. Apply and a recruiter will reach out with next steps. Minimum Requirements Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. Active Virginia COTA license or ability to obtain state license prior to start. Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required or must be obtained prior to start. Client-specific: Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is required. Client-specific: Ability to provide care consistent with a 32-hour per week schedule; typical assignment requires 4 x 8-hour shifts, days. Preferred: Prior experience with documentation in electronic medical records systems. Assignment Details Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift name: Days. Typical schedule: 4 x 8-hour shifts per week, days. Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed. Assignment length: 13-week travel contract.
