Nocturnist opportunity in Roanoke, Virginia Carilion Clinic, is seeking qualified BE/BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians to join our growing hospital medicine team in Roanoke, Virginia. We are currently recruiting for Nocturnist opportunities at our flagship facility Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Roanoke Memorial is a tertiary teaching facility that is a certified level 1 trauma center. Carilion clinic and Virginia Tech partnered to developed the Virginia Tech Carilion Clinic School of Medicine VTCSOM Virginia Tech School of Medicine. . Carilion Clinic employees over 650 physicians whom lead our multi-specialty groups that serv over 1.25 million patients across southwest Virginia for over 100 years. Opportunity: - Join a successful hospitalist team with more than 60 providers with a 95% retention rate - Nocturnist work 147 - 12 hours shifts annually - Manageable patient census - 3 Physician hospitalists covering admissions every night. - Excellent PA and NP support 3 advanced practitioners providing cross coverage - Wide variety of cases with back-up specialists available and tertiary care support - Critical care and other subspeciality support available at night - System-wide EPIC EMR - 703-bed academic/tertiary center with Level I Trauma; helipad - Teaching opportunities available; 23 GME programs - Faculty appointments within the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine - Large integrates health system that encompasses 8-hospital in southwestern Virginia Professional Skills: Must be Board certified or Board eligible.
