Medical Director Hospitalist Physician to join our dynamic team at
LewisGale Hospital - Alleghany. Join us to grow your career, make a

you serve. 204 licensed beds Staffing model: Day: 1 Physician 7a-7p
Night: 1 NPPA 7p-7a Midlevel at night has an oversight of the 20
beds and 6 ICU beds Average census of 13-16 patients/day with
Admissions 1-3 admissions during the day Open ICU: 6 beds
Hospitalist responds to rapids and codes Procedures: Comfortable
with Vent Management for emergencies Prefer to be comfortable with
intubations but not required- ED team can do intubations. Vent
training can be provided Collegial Work Environment with ED Managed
by SCP EMR: Meditech LewisGale Hospital Alleghany serves patients
in both Virginia and West Virginia. The hospital offers a full
range of medical specialties from emergency medicine to general
surgery. It is also home to the Senior Transitions program, a
15-bed specialty unit for seniors with emotional and behavioral
issues requiring short-term acute stabilization. LewisGale Hospital
