Job Description Location: Virginia, MN Virginia, Minnesota
offers a charming small-town atmosphere with the benefits of being
just 60 minutes from Duluth. The area provides beautiful natural
surroundings with opportunities for outdoor recreation in the North
Country. Facility: This facility is a 30-bed, Level IV Trauma
Center that is currently undergoing a $13 million upgrade to its
emergency department. The healthcare system includes multiple
locations throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota, with a
collaborative team of nearly 100 hospitalists including physicians
and NP/PAs. Opportunity: Hospitalist - Float Pool Join a
system-wide float pool as a Hospitalist primarily traveling
throughout the North Country, providing needed care close to home
for patients across multiple facilities. Job Details: - Position
offers great flexibility with a 1.0 FTE equating to 168 shifts,
typically following a 7/7 schedule for 24 weeks per year -
Mileage/rental car and lodging are reimbursed for travel from
Primary Location - Procedures are not required - Epic Electronic
Medical Record utilized throughout the entire system - Short-term
vent management (up to 24 hours) is required in Virginia, with
additional training supplied if necessary - Dedicated nocturnist
teams available - Coverage locations include Virginia, Brainerd,
Detroit Lakes, Duluth, Superior, and Fargo facilities - Ideal
candidates should be flexible team players, willing to address
complex issues in hospital medicine within a collaborative
environment Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay
