qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is
available for a Registered Nurse skilled in providing high-level
care within a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit setting. This role
requires experienced nursing professionals capable of managing
complex cardiac, vascular, and multisystem patients, delivering
critical support in a dynamic healthcare environment. Location:
Glen Allen, VA Glen Allen is a thriving suburban community known

it an appealing place to live and work. Responsibilities: Conduct
comprehensive patient assessments and develop, implement, and
evaluate individualized care plans. Administer medications safely
and manage cardiac drips including pressors such as Levophed and
Neosynephrine. Monitor patients with cardiac conditions, renal and
respiratory disorders, including management of BiPAP, insulin
drips, and stable tracheostomies. Coordinate patient care across
interdisciplinary teams and serve as a liaison among patients,
families, and healthcare providers. Promote patient safety and
participate in quality improvement initiatives. Maintain
documentation accuracy using electronic health records.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current RN licensure in the
state and ability to pass a competency-based EKG exam.
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale. CCRN and PCCN
certifications are preferred. Minimum of 1 year RN experience,
including at least 6 months in an acute care hospital setting.
Skilled in lab draws, IV starts, and familiar with advanced
respiratory modalities. Strong clinical judgment and ability to
manage patients with multi-system organ failure. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to educate
and advocate for patients. Schedule: Four 12-hour night shifts per
week. Availability required on every other weekend and major
holidays. This position is suited for nurses residing outside a
50-mile radius of the facility, requiring relocation or flexible
travel. Navy blue or white scrubs are the dress code. The
nurse-to-patient ratio typically ranges from 1:3 to 1:4, adapting
