Job Description:
The Engagement Center for Creative Aging is seeking a dedicated
and passionate Therapeutic Program Manager to oversee the planning,
coordination, and implementation of therapeutic, recreational, and
social programming for our Adult Day Services participants. This
position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an innovative
care model for older adults, while collaborating with a dynamic
team of healthcare professionals, researchers, and students. The
Therapeutic Program Manager will ensure the therapeutic needs of
our participants are met, contribute to development of
individualized care plans, oversee incorporation of student
engagement, and support research initiatives related to therapeutic
programming. • Full-time position with a salary based on
qualifications and experience. • This role will require both office
and fieldwork within the Adult Day Services program, interacting
directly with participants and staff. • Flexibility may be required
for scheduling programs, staff supervision, and research

Services. Required Qualifications • A master’s degree from an
accredited institution in recreational therapy, occupational
therapy, or a related field such as art, music, or physical
education is required. • At least one year of relevant experience
in a healthcare or therapeutic setting (acute care hospital,
rehabilitation facility, nursing home, etc.), or completion of a
prescribed internship program in therapeutic practices is required.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to
supervise and mentor staff and students. • Excellent communication
skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with
interdisciplinary teams. • Passion for working with older adults
and a commitment to enhancing their quality of life through
therapeutic programming. • Ability to integrate research findings
into practical service delivery and training. Preferred
Qualifications • Certification as a Recreation Therapist is highly
preferred. • Knowledge of community-based health and human services
is preferred. Overtime Status Exempt: Not eligible for overtime
