Job Description:
Vituity, a leader in healthcare management services, is seeking
a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our
dynamic team. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional care
in disciplines such as emergency medicine, hospital medicine,
critical care, anesthesiology, and acute psychiatry. The ideal
candidate will contribute to our mission of transforming healthcare
by improving care delivery alongside our network of hospitals and
providers. Conduct patient assessments and provide diagnosis and
treatment under the supervision of a physician. Collaborate with
healthcare professionals to plan for patient care. Advise patients
on health maintenance and disease prevention. Order, perform and
interpret diagnostic tests. Assist in surgical procedures and
provide pre- and post-operative care. Administer medications and
monitor side-effects. Record patient progress and consult with
physicians as needed. Offer guidance on diet, hygiene, and
preventive healthcare. Clinical expertise in a variety of
healthcare settings Ability to operate medical equipment Strong
interpersonal and communication skills Capability to make decisions
in a high-pressure environment Expertise in electronic health
record (EHR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from the National
Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or
equivalent for Nurse Practitioners. Valid state license and federal
DEA registration
