Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in facility-based and home-based patient care, is seeking a dedicated Quality & Risk Director to join our team. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive quality and risk management processes across our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health, and hospice agencies. The Director will ensure that all patient care activities uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of healthcare quality assurance, risk management, and patient safety, and will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the reputation of Encompass Health Corporation. Develop and implement quality assurance policies and protocols across all facilities. Lead internal audits and coordinate with external healthcare compliance assessments. Manage and report risks, including mitigation strategies for potential health and safety issues. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations. Conduct training sessions for staff on best practices in healthcare quality and safety. Collaborate with management and medical staff to implement changes in patient care processes. Strong leadership and organizational skills Proficient in healthcare compliance and regulatory standards Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communication and training skills Extensive knowledge of quality assurance tools and methodologies Experience in risk assessment and management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC)
