We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia. This opportunity begins on Mar 9, 2026, and offers Monday through Friday clinic coverage, with nightly weekday call and 24-hour weekend call. Candidates must hold a valid VA license and have completed a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship. This ongoing assignment is ideal for physicians experienced in managing high-risk pregnancies and related procedures. Job Details Location: Virginia Start Date: Mar 9, 2026 LOA: 120 days Provider Type Needed: Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician Schedule: Monday through Friday clinic coverage 8:00am–4:15pm, nightly weekday call, and 24-hour weekend call coverage Responsibilities and Duties Perform amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling Manage cases involving cerclage (preferred), pre-eclampsia, and multiple pregnancies Diagnose and treat fetal growth restriction, chromosomal and congenital abnormalities Address pre-term labor, hypertension, thrombophilia, and genetic disorders Oversee care for birth defects and any fetal or maternal co-morbidities associated with high-risk pregnancies Provide care for both vaginal and cesarean births Additional Information Board Certified/Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine required Completion of a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship required VA medical license required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required AIUM certification preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
