Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Wytheville, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,074 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Labor and Delivery RN Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: RN Certifications: Required Must-Have: Experience in Labor and Delivery, Mom/Baby Post Partum, Nursery Description: Located in a facility with high standards of care. The facility is a 100-bed hospital serving a primary service area of approximately 36,000 individuals. There are more than 350 full-time personnel and over 80 physicians providing care. The role is within the Women’s Center. The labor and delivery unit includes 4 LDRP beds and 2 antepartum beds, with 10 postpartum, post-op, and C-section beds. Patient ratios are maintained per requirements. The unit utilizes an Electronic Health Record system. Supervision is provided by designated staff. The patient population includes adults and newborns. Preferred candidates will have charge experience. Common diagnoses and treatments are related to obstetrics and newborn care. Scrub color is flexible and can include any solid color. Candidates should be willing to float to different units if needed. This position is necessary to cover for leave.
