Location: Lynchburg, VA 24501 (Virginia nursing jobs) - Assignment
Length: 13 weeks (November 17, 2025 – February 14, 2026) -
Healthcare Setting: Medical-Surgical/Orthopedics (60% ortho, 40%
general medical) - Shift: 12-hour nights - Hours per Week: 36 -
Weekend Requirements: 2-3 weekends per month, based on unit needs -
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1800 - Travel Nursing Experience:
Prior travel RN experience required Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or Compact State
(required upon start) - Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing
experience - BLS certification (required) - Complete work history
with all gaps over 90 days explained - Current skills checklist and
copy of Nursys/license - All requested time off must be submitted
at the time of application - Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible for this travel
RN job Med/Surg RN Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality nursing
care to patients on a busy Med/Surg Orthopedics unit - Provide
clinical care for both orthopedic and general medical patients -
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure
optimal patient outcomes - Float to other nursing units as needed,
based on facility requirements - Accurately document all patient
care activities in the electronic medical record - Participate in
