Virginia Healthcare Job Details - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (November 17, 2025 – February 16, 2026) - Healthcare Setting: Operating Room (OR) - Nursing Shift: 10-hour day shifts (possible 11:00am–9:30pm), with up to 3 call shifts per week (including weekend call rotation) - Hours per Week: 40 - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1980–$2120 - Orientation Dates: 11/17 and 12/1 (every other Monday) - Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site - Float Required: No Registered Nurse Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience - Active Registered Nurse license in Virginia or Compact State (required at time of submission) - BLS certification (required) - Experience with vascular, neuro, and da Vinci robotics cases (scrub and circulate) - Cerner EMR experience preferred - Submit all requested time off with application - Approved declinations for Covid/Flu vaccinations accepted OR Nurse Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care as both scrub and circulating nurse in a busy operating room - Participate in call rotation (up to 3 call shifts per week, including weekends) - Demonstrate clinical proficiency in vascular, neuro, and robotic (da Vinci) surgical procedures - Mentor students and new hires as part of a teaching hospital healthcare team - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes - Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures Discover the benefits of travel nursing jobs in Virginia and enjoy Lynchburg's picturesque river views, lively downtown, and welcoming healthcare community.
