A mid sized hospital is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Associate for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in Virginia. This assignment runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and includes required weeknight and weekend call coverage on a rotating 1:3 schedule. Weekend call runs from 7:00 AM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday, with specific details to be coordinated between the client and provider. The facility operates 2 ORs, with a typical caseload of 48 cases per week during normal operations. Required skills include vein harvesting and chest tube placements, with preference given to candidates experienced in all aspects of CT Surgery APP responsibilities.
