Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/07/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Neuro Intermediate Medical Unit Nurse - 12H Night Shift Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour night shifts, with assignments concluding on Saturdays. Orientation dates are 12/1 and 12/15, with rotations of 2 to 3 weekends per month based on unit need. Job Description Join our team in the Neuro Intermediate Medical Unit, where you will have the opportunity to work in a teaching hospital setting. As a valued team member, you will engage with students and new hires, contributing to a culture of support and mentorship. Responsibilities - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Neuro Intermediate Medical Unit. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Participate in the education and training of students and new staff. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant specialty. - Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. - Travel nursing experience is preferred. - Active Virginia or Compact License required at the time of submission. - Cerner experience is preferred.
