ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Lynchburg, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/01/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Med Surg Step Down Unit Registered Nurse Location Virginia Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour Day shifts, with assignments ending on Saturdays. Orientation occurs every other week on Mondays. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Med Surg Step Down Unit Registered Nurse. Travelers are expected to float based on needs and may be required to work at a nearby campus. The ideal candidate will have experience in specialty drips, infusions, starting IVs, and patient transport. Responsibilities - Provide nursing care in the Med Surg Step Down Unit. - Administer drips and infusions while managing IV starts. - Assist in patient transport as needed. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including students and new hires. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant specialty. - BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. - Cerner experience preferred. - Active Virginia / Compact License required at time of submission. - Travel experience is required.
