Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years clinical experience required License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Prior travel experience required - Charge experience preferred - Teaching hospital experience preferred - COVID and flu vaccination or declination required Description: Replacing a departing nurse. Neuro ICU RN position for 12-hour night shifts. Expected to work 2-3 weekends per month based on unit needs. Travelers float first. All team members are expected to contribute to a culture of support, particularly when interacting with students and new hires. Experience with neuro diagnoses, both surgical and medical, is preferred. Required equipment includes vital signs machines, glucometers, SCDs, bladder scanners, vein finders, remote tele capability, wound vacs, IV pumps, pulse oximeters, chest tubes, tube feeding pumps, and oxygen delivery devices. Candidates should have experience in a teaching hospital environment. Certifications must be maintained throughout the assignment.
