Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: Cardiac Telemetry experience Management and interpretation of dysrhythmias experience Peripheral line management and PICC line management experience Ability to titrate drips Experience with PCU ratios of 1:5 Floating between campuses as needed Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit. The position requires working night shifts, three times a week. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of nursing experience. A valid nursing license is required prior to submission. All candidates must hold current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH. Candidates must have experience in cardiac telemetry, specifically in management and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Experience in peripheral line care and management, as well as PICC line management, is essential. Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to titrate drips proficiently. Understanding of PCU ratios with a maximum of 1:5 is important for this role. Floating to assist across multiple locations may be a requirement as needed. All candidates must pass a mandatory EKG exam. Flexibility with scheduling is necessary due to a strict policy on attendance. No barriers should exist that would prevent compliance completion on time.
