Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, EPIC experience required Must-Have: - Inpatient rehabilitation experience required - Candidates must pass a mandatory EKG exam during compliance Description: This position is for an inpatient rehabilitation floor. Candidates must be aware of this prior to applying. Mandatory questions must be answered before an offer can be made. Candidates should be flexible with scheduling. The client has a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences. Any upcoming vacations or barriers preventing compliance completion must be disclosed. Candidates must be aware of the EKG exam required for all nurses. The shift is nights, from 7 PM to 7 AM. Every third weekend and holidays are required. Float may be required between campuses if needed. Responsibilities include interpretation of laboratory results and medication reconciliation. Candidates will perform dressing changes and assist with sterile procedures. Specimen collection, including capillary draws and phlebotomy, is part of the job. Telephone triage and pharmacy calls will also be required. Experience with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injuries, and generalized debility is necessary. Patient ratios are 1:6. The role involves specialized care for patients with rehabilitation needs. Candidates must be prepared for floating to various campuses as needed. All candidates must have a clean background check with no open cases. Education verification through a third party is required. Only local candidates within a specified radius may be considered. All RNs must pass the EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed. Study materials will not be provided, so candidates should prepare accordingly.
