TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Christiansburg, Virginia, 24073! Pay Information $1,978 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required Travel Experience Required Adult and Pediatric Experience Required License: Active License Required Certifications: COVID-19 Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Flu Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Must-Have: Charge Experience Preferred Ability to Float Description: ASAP start for a 13-week assignment. 3x12 hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Experience with surgical and medical patients is required. Surgical patients include orthopedics, general, gynecology, urology, and spinal cases. Medical patients include pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, weakness, pancreatitis, diverticulitis, wound infections, and others. Patient ratios are 1:4-5. Travelers may be required to float between units. Travelers will be required to work in a charge role. Employee self-scheduling is available, and schedules may be adjusted as needed. Travelers must work at least one holiday during the 13-week assignment. During winter holidays, travelers must work two holidays. Compliance documents are due prior to the start date. Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are considered local and are not accepted. Previous travelers must have been gone for a minimum of one year before returning. Travelers cannot return after working on assignment for 365 days. Those who end assignments prior to the specified date will be grandfathered under the previous one-year policy. Modules completed within the first 24 hours are non-billable.
