qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Roanoke, Virginia, 24014! Pay

Description: ICU position with an ASAP start preferred. Work
schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
The unit is a 12-bed intensive care unit. Nurses provide care to
patients requiring complex ongoing assessment, multiple therapies,
and interventions. The unit specializes in post-operative patients
after vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, or stroke. It is a
certified stroke center. The unit operates 24/7, serving patients
aged 18 and older. The standard nurse to patient ratio is 2:1.
Complex therapies and treatments include cardiac and hemodynamic
monitoring, continuous renal replacement therapy, mechanical
ventilation support, pacemaker management, and intracranial
pressure monitoring. Orientation consists of 24 hours, with some
modules being non-billable if completed within the first 24 hours.
Modules may be completed pre-start or during orientation, and hours
