Pay Information $1,991 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; first-time travelers are acceptable License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH required Must-Have: Cardiac Telemetry experience required Management and interpretation of dysrhythmias experience Peripheral Line Care/Management and PICC line management experience Ability to titrate drips Experience with PCU ratios (1:5) Floating required as needed Description: The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in progressive care nursing. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling. A zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences is enforced. The candidate must be prepared to complete compliance on time. All nursing professionals are required to pass an EKG exam. The candidate is allowed two attempts at the EKG requirement. Study materials for the EKG exam are not provided. Floating to various units may be necessary based on staffing needs. This role involves direct patient care in a progressive care setting.
