Medical Assistant Prepare Exam Rooms Interview patients to obtain medical information and vital statistics Record patients medical history, height, and weight Patient education Input orders directed by physician Schedule appointments necessary to patient care Surgery scheduling to include coordination of preoperative H&P testing, therapy, and pre/post-operative equipment Assist with patient flow and give direct patient care as directed Maintain clean and well-stocked treatment rooms, bracing rooms and clinical areas Respond to phone calls and triages CCMA, CMA, RMA or ROT Preferred Radiology Technologists Prepare patients for radiological procedures Obtain quality radiographs of patients in an acceptable timeframe Process and accurately digitize images with correct patient data Prepare examination rooms for radiographic procedures Review each exam for technical accuracy and identify anatomical orientation on all images Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations Comply with radiation safety guidelines and operates radiographic equipment safely Current Virginia Radiologic Technologist License required ARRT Certification required What OrthoVirginia offers you Competitve salary Excellent healthcare benefits Medical Dental Vision Short and long-term disability Life Insurance Paid time off (PTO) and eight paid holidays Company HSA contribution Generous 401k incentive plan with immediate vesting and company contribution Referral bonus plan Company-wide wellness program Monday to Friday schedules Employment Type: Full Time
