Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job in Central Virginia Seeking Coverage for One Week in October + Two Weeks in November Jackson + Coker is partnered with a Virginia based GI group that is in need of GI coverage starting in October and ongoing. Open to candidates that can cover weekend 24-hour call coverage and also interested in candidates that can cover longer stretches of 1-4 weeks per month.Dates (24-hour call coverage on): Would ideally schedule orientation on Friday, September 29 AM prior to covering the below shifts Monday, October 2 at 7AM Monday, October 9 at 7A Saturday, October 28 at 7AM Monday, November 13 at 7AM Description/Requirements for Assignment : Location: central Virginia - approximately a two hour drive from Richmond, Virginia Active and unrestricted Virginia license required Coverage need: 24-hour call coverage only; no clinic needs CT Surgery, no vascular needed Average patient volume on a daily basis: 5-6 patients per day + approximately one surgery Will have one other CT Surgeon doing work in the clinic while locums CT Surgeon covers call, will have APP inpatient support Facility details: 350 + beds, designated level 2 trauma center, Cerner EMR, privileging process takes 90-120 days on average Jackson + Coker offers:+ Weekly Direct Deposit+ Top Rated Malpractice Insurance+ In-House Travel Agency+ 24/7 Recruiter Availability + Single Point of Contact+ Experienced In-House Privileging CoordinatorsExperience why Jackson + Coker has been recognized by Forbes and Staffing Industry Analysts for our commitment to service excellence.Apply Here!
