Description: Job Title: Sr. Specialist, Operations Project Management Job Code: CS20233103-99139 Job Location: Salt Lake City, Utah Work Schedule: 9x80 The Operations Project Manager (OPM) oversees all Operations efforts relating to contract execution and is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects from beginning to end, according to strict deadlines and budgets. The OPM acts as the point-of-contact between elements of Manufacturing, Procurement, Test, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Program Management. They ensure cost and schedule conformance on assigned projects by coordinating the procurement, build, and test of complex electronic systems. A successful candidate should be able to:

• Understand various manufacturing processes and methods Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate with Master Schedulers and Master Planners to develop baseline production plans
  • Perform lead-time and critical path analysis on multi-level hardware builds
  • Assess cost and schedule risks and develop associated mitigations
  • Estimate sales forecasts for labor and material
  • Monitor and report financial, schedule and technical performance of assigned projects
  • Identify and coordinate resources necessary for production efforts
  • Oversee production budgets with the responsibility to analyze, manage and report on budget performance and variance analysis
  • Interface and communicate with all levels of the organization Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of related experience in a manufacturing, production, or other highly schedule-based environment, or Graduate Degree and minimum 4 years of related experience Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
      • Demonstrated ability in financial or data analysis and monitoring is desired
      • Demonstrated ability in business and/or technical writing, public speaking, and creating formal presentations is desired
      • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and demonstrate ability to analyze data using graphs and pivot tables
      • Experience using schedule management tools such as Microsoft Project is preferred
      • Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems is preferred
