Project Director - Grant to Benefit Homeless (GBHI) Full Time Management HWC @ Langhorne, Lynchburg, VA, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1589 Salary Range: $42,124.00 To 67,398.00 Annually Hours: full-time (37.5 hours per week)Location: Lynchburg, VA 24501Position SummaryThe Project Director is responsible for the coordination of the day-to-day activities of the GBHI grant and the administrative supervision of grant staff. The position will directly supervise the administrative assistant/data entry technician, peer recovery specialist, and housing specialist. The position will work directly with the external grant evaluator and evaluation project assistant to ensure timely and accurate data reporting to SAMHSA.This is a grant-funded position that ends with the ending of the grant scheduled for 9/29/27Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in applicable human services field
  • 1 to 3 years of grant management experience with a behavioral healthcare client population, including one year of prior supervisory experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Related Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesProject management skills with experience in managing and supervising administrative projects; Knowledge of grant administration and expectations to maintain identified budget requirements; Ability to effectively manage employee performance, communicate expectations and objectively rate the performance of assigned employees; Knowledge of community mental health and/or substance use in order to provide advocacy and enhance an individual's treatment and access to community resources; Knowledge of community resources and partnerships addressing mental health, substance abuse and homelessness.Strong command over written and verbal communication; to communicate effectively in order to facilitate treatment and relay information to others as part of an interdisciplinary team; Ability to develop reports, create presentations and communicate findings to both internal and external audiences; Ability to address performance concerns in a constructive manner.Willing and available to work modified schedules (weekends, holiday, etc.) as required; Ability to drive and must possess a valid driver's license. May be called upon to travel to any Horizon worksite; transport clients, provide services to client at other locations.
