Job Description:
GXO Logistics, a leader in advanced supply chain solutions, is
seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician II to join our
Engineering & Maintenance team. This role is critical to ensuring
the operational integrity of our logistics and distribution
infrastructure. The Maintenance Technician II will be responsible
for performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting,
and repairs on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment
within our facilities. With a focus on safety and efficiency, this
position plays a key role in minimizing downtime and enhancing the
operational capabilities of our logistics operations. Conduct
routine and scheduled maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary
repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain
clean work environment. Document maintenance procedures and
outcomes for future reference. Collaborate with the operations team
to schedule maintenance and minimize operational disruptions.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and ensure it meets
operational standards. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding
of electrical systems. Experience with HVAC, conveyor, and
pneumatic systems is desirable. Ability to read and interpret
technical diagrams and schematics. Skilled in using hand tools,
power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Effective troubleshooting
and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork
abilities. Certification in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance is
a plus. OSHA Safety training certification.
