seeks a Civil Engineer to perform various types of civil designs,
lead projects & play an integral part in our growing Built
Infrastructure practice group.
This position can be remote or based out of one of our U.S.
offices.Your Key ResponsibilitiesConsult with clients to determine
project plans and schedulesServe as technical advisor on assigned
projects and issues of moderate complexityMaintain positive client
relationshipsPrepare studies and reportsDirectly supervise
multi-discipline employees and subconsultants involved in the
projectCarry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with
the company's policies and applicable lawsEvaluate, select, and
apply advanced design & engineering methods with responsibility for
project assignments including programming, design development, and
coordination and production of construction documentsConduct
engineering design of: Grading and proper drainage, Stormwater
Management Facilities and Stormwater Conveyance Systems, Utility
systems, including but not limited to sanitary sewer and water,
Erosion and Sedimentation Control calculations and best management
practices, Hydrology and hydraulics calculations and
studiesEvaluate and integrate engineering systems and implement
code, accessibility, and zoning analysesQualificationsYour
Capabilities and CredentialsAbility to exercise professional
discretion and judgmentStrong client satisfaction track
recordDemonstrated commitment and focus on QualityExcellent
technical writing and oral communication skillsAbility to establish
priorities and complete tasks on multiple projects, with experience
developing MS Project schedulesAbility to maintain organization in
a changing environmentExhibit initiative, responsibility,
flexibility, and leadershipAbility to use extensive working
knowledge of all relevant procedures necessary to complete contract
documents to obtain permitsAbility to use working knowledge of all
sub-consultant work to maintain efficiencies and meet
deadlinesAbility to read, analyze and interpret common scientific
and technical journals, financial reports, and legal
documentsSuperior leadership and management skillsPosition requires
the ability to travel both domestically & internationallyAbility to
operate standard Civil Engineering software/design tools for
routine system modeling, design calculation, analysis and
interpretation.
Appropriate examples include: hydraulic modeling software (WaterCAD
/ SewerCAD / Autodesk SSA, computer aided drafting software
(AutoCAD Civil 3D), GIS software (ArcGIS).
Ability to work in Autodesk Revit a plus.Position requires a drug
screenEducation and ExperienceB.S.
in Civil Engineering5-8 years' experience in Civil Engineering
consulting at increased levels of responsibility, to include

Range(s):$128,200
- $192,300 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CO and HICA
Other Areas $128,200
- CA Other Areas $206,300 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in
CA (SF Area includes SF, SJS & WLC)The final agreed upon
compensation is based on individual education, qualifications,
experience, and work location.
