Job Description
Our client, a leading medical device company, is currently seeking
an ambitious Validation Engineer to help lead their team. This is a
unique opportunity for a highly motivated candidate with a
go-getter attitude and a drive to succeed. Responsibilities
include:
1) Perform all company validation functions related to
manufacturing, raw materials, packaging, testing, and distribution
of products and raw materials
2) Moderate direct impact on profitability results from maintaining
proper adherence to validation and stability guidelines
3) Develop and write validation policies, procedures and
protocols
4) Perform IQ, OQ and PQ, cleaning and utilities validation
5) Work closely with engineering on new equipment specifications
and engineering changes as related to process and cleaning
validation
6) Evaluate, identify and develop current company validation and
stability standards to meet global requirements and current
industry standards
7) Supervise, coordinate and provide QA oversight for assembling
and issuing new product technical releases prior to initial release
of product to the market
8) Supervise, coordinate and provide QA oversight for the company's
calibration program
9) Supervise, coordinate and provide QA oversight for line and ship
tests
10) Supervise, coordinate, and provide QA oversight for the change
control process at company
11) Provide technical support on process investigations, quality
improvement and CAPA activities
12) Participate in training and instruction of departmental
supportive personnel and provide technical leadership to the
department
13) Provide technical support to a variety of corporate and
international programs
14) Provide oversight for the calibration program
15) Troubleshoot and rectify any problems in testing and processing
of products while conforming to company standards for product
quality
16) Perform FATs as needed and provide technical expertise for
acceptance test on site
17) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are
welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those
with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students
or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly
preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in
validation engineering

Compensation and Other Details
Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with
experience
