Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to
support the Extended School Year (ESY) program at a specialized
high school setting in Ludlow, MA. This role focuses on providing
speech therapy services within the Compass High Programan
educational environment tailored for students with Autism Spectrum
Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. The program
emphasizes personalized support to enhance communication and
independence beyond traditional classrooms. Location: Ludlow,
Massachusetts (assignment onsite at Ludlow High School; client base
in West Springfield) Contract Duration: July 6, 2026 August 7, 2026
Weekly Hours: 15-20 hours, spread across 2-3 days per week Student
Population: High school students with ASD and learning differences
Special Requirements: Experience providing AAC services preferred;
AAC evaluations not required Responsibilities Deliver
speech-language therapy services tailored to high school students
with ASD and diverse learning needs Collaborate with educational
staff to support individualized communication goals within the
Compass High Program Implement therapy strategies that promote
skill development toward greater independence Maintain accurate
documentation in compliance with all relevant state requirements
Qualifications Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
meeting all regulatory standards Credentials aligned with
school-based SLP roles, including CCC (Certificate of Clinical
Competence) Demonstrated experience with AAC systems and strategies
beneficial for this high school setting Ability to work effectively
within a specialized educational program focused on autism and
