Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A virtual,
school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) role offers an
opportunity to support elementary and middle school students
through a remote, contract position. This 1099-based role requires
a commitment of at least 20 hours per week, with the flexibility to
work full or part time. The position is set in Richmond, VA, and
serves a caseload of approximately 50 students. This contract
begins in the second semester and may be renewed annually based on
performance and mutual agreement. Responsibilities include:
Providing speech-language therapy services to elementary and middle
school students Conducting assessments, developing individualized
treatment plans, and implementing therapy Collaborating with
educators and families to support student progress Maintaining
accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and
procedures Participating in virtual meetings and professional
development as required Desired qualifications: Valid license and
certification as a speech-language pathologist (SLP), preferably
with pediatric expertise Experience working with school-aged
children in elementary and middle school settings Ability to
deliver therapy effectively in a virtual environment Strong
communication skills and comfort with digital tools for teletherapy
Self-motivated and organized to manage a caseload independently
Location: Remote; serving schools based in Richmond, VA This
