Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do

school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is
available in Roanoke, VA, offering an opportunity to support
students across multiple grade levels in an educational setting.
This contract role involves providing specialized speech and
language services to students from early childhood through high
school, ensuring their communication needs are met comprehensively.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and create individualized
treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments.
Deliver therapy services to students in Pre-K, elementary (Grades
K-5), middle school (Grades 6-8), and high school (Grades 9-12)
settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school
staff to promote effective communication strategies and support
student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of
student progress and treatment plans. Participate in IEP meetings
and adhere to school district policies and procedures. Desired
Skills and Experience: Certification as a Speech-Language
Pathologist. Experience working with students across diverse grade
levels, including early childhood through high school. Knowledge of
speech and language development and disorders in school-aged
children. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to
adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs.
