Cargill, a global leader in providing diverse services and products across food, agriculture, financial, and industrial sectors, is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our Technical & Maintenance Department. This role is essential to ensure the optimal operation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems within our manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will contribute to our mission of nourishing and sustaining the global community by maintaining an efficient, safe, and comfortable working environment. Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems within manufacturing facilities. Perform regular maintenance tasks on cooling units, heating units, and other ventilation systems. Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications and to detect malfunctions in system operation. Work with electronic testing equipment to diagnose malfunctions in complex control systems. Adjust system controls to settings recommended by manufacturer to balance systems, using hand tools. Communicate effectively with facility management to keep all parties informed of HVAC system status. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures in place at Cargill. Proven knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and operational issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics. Skilled in the use of a variety of hand and power tools. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k EPA Section 608 Certification required. HVAC Excellence Certification or NATE Certification is advantageous.
