Job Description:
Role: To direct all financial related affairs of the Credit
Union, including establishing major economic and financial
objectives, identifying and mitigating risk, and creating and
maintaining relevant policies. Provides strategic leadership in
asset-liability management (ALM), profitability programs, and
financial analysis to ensure sustainable growth. Partner with
Executive Team to develop short- and long-range goals, strategies,
and plans to align with organizational objectives. Essential
Functions & Responsibilities: (40%) Oversee construction,
evaluation and reporting of financial and operating data to support
corporate and community development functions and strategic
objectives. Direct asset-liability management (ALM) processes and
net income simulations to ensure sound balance sheet management.
(30%) Lead relationship management and oversee product and
organizational profitability programs , ensuring profitability
metrics are continually updated and aligned with strategic goals
across all product lines. (20%) Prepare and review financial
analyses as needed to support decision-making and performance
monitoring. (5%) Oversee and review administrative functions within
the Finance department to maintain accuracy and compliance. (5%)
Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational
objectives. Performance Measurements: Must comply with government
and other regulations affecting the credit union industry
including, but not limited to, OFAC and the Bank Secrecy Act. Meets
or exceeds performance expectations as described in Essential
Functions and Responsibilities. Please refer to Annual Performance
Goal document for remaining Performance Measurements. Knowledge and
Skills: Experience: Minimum 3 years in analytical role . Education:
BA or BS in a business or economic discipline required.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with
others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of
first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and
soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of
confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in
communication. Other Skills: Effective relational , collaborative ,
and communication skills adaptable for all levels of the
organization. Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word skill level.
Technical writing and presentation skills must be strong. Must be
able to translate data and analysis into actionable business
information for a management audience. Must be skillful at relating
to people throughout the organization at all levels. Physical
