Production Scheduler plays a crucial role in the efficient
functioning of production operations within the facility. They are
responsible for scheduling production processes and departments,
ensuring optimal utilization of materials, employees, and equipment
availability. Monitoring production processes, implementing
improvements, and reducing costs are key components of this role.
This role demands a proactive individual capable of managing
complex production schedules while maintaining effective
communication and adhering to quality standards.Responsibilities
and Activities:Develops daily or weekly production schedules to
meet manufacturing goals and customer delivery deadlinesFacilitates
the provision of materials and components necessary for
productionManages product deliveries to customers
effectivelyAnalyzes relevant data to create reports and optimize
production schedulesUtilizes collected data to improve scheduling
efficiency and effectivenessCommunicates daily attainment data and
weekly output reliability to the production teamMaintains frequent
communication with various departments to ensure smooth
operationsUtilizes various communication channels including email
and software platformsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Associate's
Degree or higher is preferred, or a combination of education and
experienceGeneral knowledge of printing, bindery, envelope, and
mail services equipmentPrior experience with Direct Mail, print
design, and similar equipment is desirableProficiency in Microsoft
Suite is essentialAbility to learn and utilize ERP systems;
experience with PrintStream ERP software is advantageousCompetence
in using accounting software, logistics planning programs, word
processing software, and manufacturing softwareAbility to read and
interpret various documents including purchase orders, job layouts,
safety rules, and procedure manualsEffective verbal and written
communication skills, capable of addressing groups of customers or
employees.High level of attention to detailWillingness to be
accountable for the quality of production outputFull-time position
requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, potentially including
overtimeFlexibility to work occasional shifts beyond regular hours
