• Support Staff Available: 1 Physician in practice; No APP support

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
• Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
• Credentialing Timeline: 3 - 14 days for temporary privileges; 2 - 3 months for permanent privileges

• Board: Board Certified Medical Oncology - Required; Board Certified Hematology - Highly Preferred
• Licenses: Active VA License - Required
• Certifications: BLS - Required
• Other Qualifications: COI coverage of $2.6M/$7.8M (VA statute limitations) - Required if requested by the facility

• Provide locum tenens coverage for Hematology & Oncology services
• Manage both inpatient and outpatient care for adult and geriatric patients
• Handle a caseload of 70% Oncology and 30% Hematology patients
• Conduct hospital rounding on an average of 2-8 patients per day
• Utilize Epic EMR for all patient documentation and orders
